Why BohraConnect exists

Mumineen helping mumineen.
That is the whole idea.

In Ashara Mubaraka, Moula TUS speaks of mumineen serving in every skill and profession, and of the strength that comes when the community holds each other's hands. Look around any masjid: doctors, traders, engineers, teachers, students. Every skill is already there.

But two mumineen on opposite sides of the world may never know the other exists. A young graduate looking for her first job may not know that someone two rows behind her runs a company that is hiring. BohraConnect was built to close that gap: one network where the whole community can reach the whole community.

Ask

A job lead, business advice, a supplier, a contact in another city. Post what you need. Someone in the community knows the answer.

💼

Offer

Share your skill, your experience, your network. Khidmat of knowledge counts too, and it costs nothing to open a door for someone.

🌍

Grow together

The help you give today returns when you need it. That is how our community has always worked. This app just removes the distance.

Around the world
mumineen live and work across the globe
Every industry
medicine, trade, engineering, education and more
One network
so no momin has to face it alone
Features

Everything your community needs, in one place

Built from the ground up around Bohra life, not adapted from a generic social app.

🎭

Dual-mode identity

One account, two personas. Switch between your Social and Professional profile with a single tap. Separate feeds, separate followers, separate chats. Your colleagues see your work; your friends see your life.

🔐

Encrypted messaging

Direct messages and group chats are encrypted — keys are generated on your device and our servers store only ciphertext. So your chats work across your devices, your key is also kept securely on our servers, and as a matter of policy we do not read your messages.

🌙

Bohra Hijri calendar

Miqaat dates and community events, organised around the calendar our community actually lives by, with reminders before every important date.

🪙

B-Coin rewards

Earn B-Coins for being an active, positive member. Spend them to open a Page, boost a post or unlock an applicant.

🎟️

Invite-only events

Host and RSVP to community gatherings with guest lists that stay within the community.

🎬

Reels, stories & feed

Share moments through posts, short videos and 24-hour stories. Seen only by verified community members, never the open internet, never sold to advertisers.

✅

Verified members only

Every member is verified as part of the community before they can join. No strangers, no bots, no anonymous accounts. A network where every face is a familiar one.

New · Shop, Jobs & Pages

Buy, sell and hire within the community

The trader down the road and the graduate looking for a first role now meet in the same app, and every buyer, seller, employer and applicant is a verified member.

Community Shop

Any business or community Page can open a shop and sell to members: products with photos, options such as size or colour, live stock and the areas it delivers to.

  1. BrowseSearch the storefront, filter by category and save what you like to your wishlist.
  2. OrderFill a basket for each shop, apply a coupon and give your delivery address.
  3. Pay the seller directlyCash on delivery, bank transfer or mobile wallet, with a screenshot as proof of payment. The app never handles the money for your goods.
  4. Track it homeFollow your order from confirmed to shipped to delivered, then confirm it arrived and leave a review.

Only members who received an item can review it. A shop sees how many people viewed a product, never who.

Jobs & hiring

Professional Pages post roles, and members find, save and apply to them in a few taps. Posting and applying are both free.

  1. SearchFilter by category, work mode and experience, and save a search to get one alert a day when new roles match.
  2. ApplyYour professional profile is your CV. There is no file to upload, and you see exactly what the employer will see.
  3. Get shortlistedEmployers see your name and headline first, and unlock your contact details only when they want to take it further.
  4. TalkHiring conversations happen in the Page's inbox, so they carry on even if the recruiter moves on.

Employers never see who saved a role or what anyone is searching for.

🏢

Pages

Give your business, trust or committee a home: contact details, opening hours, services, star reviews, an inbox and a verification seal. Add your team, each with their own role.

📣

Boost

Put a post, your Page, a job or a product in front of more members as a clearly marked sponsored card, paid for in B-Coins.
